Freddie Gibbs: The Last Rabbit tour

Published on March 31st, 2026

I unfortunately missed the majority of the opening act, redveil, due to a massive wait at a not-so-fast food restaurant. Luckily I still caught the last 3-4 songs, so at least I can say I've seen him live.

Freddie started a bit mumbly, and it sounded like he wasn't super into it. This really had me worried me for the rest of the show. Luckily though, three songs in he started getting a better grip on this whole "performing music live"-thing and he actually rapped his verses instead of stumbling through them.

Once he was warmed up, he's unstoppable. Intricate rhymes, sublime flows, and catchy hooks filled the room, taking the whole audience on a musical journey. His old stuff from back in the day sounded just as fresh as it did back then, and hearing his newer stuff from Alfredo 2 live was amazing.

Ensalada near the end of the show was fantastic to hear live, but One Mo Gram (to the tune of the Jackson 5's "One More Chance") had to be a highlight of the show for me:

🎶 Ooh baby give me one more gram ("Ooh baby give me one more chance")

🎶 I want some crack ("I want you back")
