FIFO all the things

I "FIFO" everything I have multiple of at home.
- Unloading plates from the dishwasher? They go at the bottom of the stack in the cabinet.
- Clothing just got washed? It goes at the bottom of the stack or at the back of the drawer.
This way everything gets the same amount of use. There's nothing worse than 2 or 3 plates worn out completely while the rest of the 6-piece set still look brand new. If everything wears out at the same pace, it's easier to gauge when you need to replace it, if it's worth repairing, and donate it if you're parting ways with it.
