Blaugust 2026

Apparently it's Blaugust! ("blog" + "August" = "Blaugust", very creative)
That's a good excuse to fire up the old CMS again and get to publishing; something I've been slacking on the past few weeks (nay, months) for real life reasons.
One of those reasons is that my girlfriend and I bought a house! The renovations swallowed up a bunch of my time, but with that behind us we're just now settling in and finding our new rhythm. This also means I have a new home network to set up and configure, which I've been meaning to write about on my blog but could never figure out where to start. Well, setting it up from scratch literally requires me to start at the beginning, so that'll be upcoming!
Some people take Blaugust very seriously and post a new blog post every day during the month of August. I won't be, as evidenced by the fact that this one is getting published on the 5th. 😅 I'm just using it as an excuse to flex my writing/publishing muscle again after a long dormancy. Excited to see where this takes me!
